June and July Activities:
Soil Savers have been busy throughout the month at various Club and County Activities. Here are a few:
Our July meeting was a picnic at the Krueger Farm--photos are coming soon:). After a short meeting, we played games and enjoyed our potluck dinner. Thank you to Rick and Sue for hosting and roasting hot dogs!
Rabbit Agility (above)--A new competition at the Washington County Fair this year. Practices are every Sunday at 2 PM.
Rabbit Project Workshop:
Sarah, Emma, and Abby presented at the County Rabbit Show Clinic held on July 10, 2013. Project members learned about Showmanship, Grooming, and upcoming fair activities in the Rabbit Barn.

Gearing up for County Arts In--July 7th auditions. Encampment is scheduled for July 14--17th!
Our June Meeting was held at St.Andrew's Village on June 10, 2013.
Mitchell Johnson takes over for Katelyn while she is at YELLO and Anna and Abby fill in for Josh and Emma who are at YELLO.
Laura Heinzen Spoke to us about concussion prevention and recovery.
In June, the Soil Savers held a Food Drive. Food was donated to Valley Outreach. We collected 340 pounds of food for the Food Shelf. Good job Soil Savers!
